I am a Yorkshire man from the North of England. I am a successful business man now retired. I have been involved in charitable and voluntary work throughout my working life. I am a Rotarian, I became a member 40 years ago. I was made a Paul Harris Fellow in 1983 for services to my club and its survival.I established a personal charity in 1993 which is principally to help impoverished people, and particularly young people escape poverty.
